Why is it necessary to set up a consultation before you begin caring for my pet?
We like to give both owner and pet the chance to get acquainted with us. This is a good time to discuss your pet's habits or requirements with us.
How will I know how my pets are doing when I'm away from home?
We communicate directly with clients by phone or email. We can also send you daily pet progress reports (with a photo) upon request.
Are you bonded, insured, and licensed?
We are bonded, insured and licensed and can provide documentation upon request.
Who are the pet sitters who will be coming into my home?
The owner, Sarah Coshak, is the only person that will enter your home.
What if my property or pet is damaged?
Pooch n' Pals is liable only for damage from negligence or willful misconduct. Due to the unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for uncontrollable mishaps (such as bites or furniture damage).
What do you do in case of an emergency?
If an emergency occurs with your pets, we will first contact your vet and transport them if necessary. You will then be contacted about the situation. If there is an emergency with your home, we will call you, your emergency contact, and the appropriate authorities and/or a preferred repair service.
How do I make house keys available to my pet sitter?
There are a few ways to make your keys available to us. We prefer that you give a set of keys to us during the introductory meet and greet visit. Most of our clients allow us to keep their key on file so that when they use our services again, neither the sitter nor the client is inconvenienced. Alternatively, you can drop keys off directly at our office in Hillsboro Beach. Keys not kept on file will be subject to a $15.00 pickup/return fee.
How do I know my keys will be safe?
We code clients' keys instead of labeling them with your personal information. Keys are stored in a secured lockbox.
What forms of payment do you accept? How does billing work?
We accept cash, check, or credit card (through PayPal). Please let us know your payment preference and we will either leave you a printed invoice or send you an electronic invoice through PayPal. We are verified PayPal business members.

We can administer pills, ointments and shots
Are there extra costs for holiday visits?
Visits on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas are assessed a $10 fee. |
